The city needed a way to remind riders of proper bus etiquette and safety guidelines, but traditional signage inside the vehicles was being overlooked. My challenge was to translate these rules into engaging, easy-to-understand content tailored for social media—where the message could reach riders before they even stepped onto the bus.
I translated the rules into bite-sized visuals and clear, friendly language designed for quick scrolling. I created a system of illustrations and motion graphics that balanced clarity with a playful tone, making the guidelines feel less like restrictions and more like helpful reminders. Each post was optimized for mobile formats and designed to be shareable, ensuring the message could spread organically across social channels.
The campaign transformed routine bus rules into engaging content that riders actually paid attention to. Posts gained strong traction on social platforms, with increased shares and positive feedback from the community. Riders described the visuals as approachable and memorable, and transportation staff reported fewer reminders were needed on board. By shifting the message into a friendly, visual-first format, the campaign successfully made bus etiquette part of the conversation before passengers ever boarded.
